PWC Clubhouse Update 26/10/2021

Dear DUC and DSBC Members

Looking for somewhere to hang out or eat during load shedding? The club has a generator, so the effects of load shedding scheduled for the remainder of this week are minimised at the club and the kids can hit the beach during the enforced study break.

Despite it being a public holiday, the club will be closed as per normal on Monday 1st November so that the staff can vote in their registered voting areas.

What’s Happening at the Club:

Happy Hour: 30% off members drink prices excluding soft drinks.

Wednesday 5pm to 6pm.
Saturdays 4pm to 5pm

Saturday 30th October
5pm to 10pm Halloween Party See attachment for details

There is no cost to attend the Halloween Party which is open to members and their guests only. Tables are available on a first come, first served basis on the day – no advance reservations will be considered.

There will be some Halloween Décor around the club and Dj Sbi will be responsible for the vibe. The kids (and adults!) are invited to dress up for the occasion. The idea is that members occupy a table with a pile of treats and the kids go from table-to-table trick or treating. Hopefully there will some tricking and not just treating this year.

1pm to 5pm Sunday Party Vibes with live music by Shannon Jem Stones

Durban Undersea Club – members subs payment deadline 15th November 2021

There are some DUC members that have not yet paid their membership fees for the 2021/22 membership year which runs from August 2021 through to July 2022 nor have they resigned their membership from the club.

The club office has been trying to contact the members with outstanding dues to ascertain if they would like to keep their membership.

All members that remain unpaid by Monday 15th April will be automatically resigned from the club to make space for new member applications.

Should a resigned member wish to re-join the club after this date, they will need to reapply as new member and joining fees will be applicable.

Should you have a query concerning the status of your membership account, please send an email to jackie@pwesc.co.za

Boat inspection weekend 27th and 28th November

On this weekend, the club safety officers will offer their services to assist club boating members with their annual boating Certificate of Fitness (COF) for 2022.
Boat inspection fees for this year are:
R500 for 6m and under
R700 for over 6m

If you intend to make use of this club service to members and attend the boat inspection weekend, please send an email to jackie@pwsc.co.za requesting your invoice for the boat inspection fees.
Please Check out https://www.durbanskiboatclub.co.za/safety/ for the requirements and paperwork so you can start getting your act together before the inspection dates. Trying to do it all on the day inevitability leads to disappointment and delays.
For any queries in this regard, you can contact Skinny: derrickferreira56@gmail.com or Ryan: ryan@durbanyamaha.co.za

We look forward to seeing you at the club
