Newsbreak 4/02/2021

Dear DUC and DSBC Members

Shoo – we are almost back to the new normal as far as the club is concerned – beer, beach and bathers are back! (Apologies to Ryan!)

It seems like the unseasonably cool and cloudy weather is behind us and we look forward to a busy weekend at the club as members take advantage of the better weather to shake off the cabin fever and support the club while putting their toes in the sand and sea again.

If you do visit the club this weekend, please remember that we still in Covid Lockdown level 3 (adjusted!) so mask wearing, sanitising, hand washing and social distancing are the norm. Please make as much use as possible of the outside areas including the beach as there is still a 50 person limit inside the clubhouse.

If you are looking to quench your thirst at the club, please understand that due to the huge demand on our beverage suppliers at the moment, your favourite tipple may not be immediately available. If you are hungry, we are still in the process of increasing our stock levels to cope with the anticipated increase in demand by members so some menu items may not be available ( or could run out) this week but we should be fully stocked by next week.

The club hours will now revert to the new normal except that the club will remain closed on Mondays and Tuesdays until further notice
